The sterilisation of up to 2 kg of instruments on two trays takes just 6.5 to 18 minutes (plus drying time) in accordance with EN 13060 – thereby enabling workflows that are up to six times faster than with conventional autoclaves.

With ProSign, you can say goodbye to tedious paperwork: Document and approve batches digitally – directly on the SteriHero Speed+ display. For seamless traceability, the optional MELAprint 80 printer produces barcode labels to identify your instruments.

Our plug-and-play installation concept enables lightning-fast commissioning at any desired location – whilst taking up 60 per cent less space than a conventional autoclave. With the new connection kit (ME09046), the SteriHero Speed+ can be quickly connected to MELAdem for automated water supply and drainage.

By entering an individual PIN, SteriHero autoclaves identify the person starting and approving the sterilization batch. This clearly assigns the program cycle and documents it traceably.

Then document directly on the display whether the Helix test or Type 5 indicator has changed colour correctly. The used batch indicator can then be disposed of.

Even if all sterilization parameters have been successfully met, there may be reasons not to approve the batch – for example, wet instruments or burst packaging. ProSign also lets you document the result of your visual inspection quickly and easily.

If a MELAprint 80 is connected to the autoclave as a label printer, you can then easily print barcode labels for traceable identification of the instruments – including batch number, storage period and other relevant batch information.
