The SteriHero Bowie & Dick Test (Size: 11,5 cm x 11,5 cm) is the ideal solution for routine monitoring of steam penetration in autoclaves according to EN ISO 11140-4. The test package simulates a laundry package, as it typically occurs during the sterilization of textiles. If the test is successful, the type 2 indicator reliably changes from yellow to black at 134 °C and after 3.5 minutes. This ensures that the steam, in combination with the fractional prevacuum, reaches even the deepest layers of the laundry package.

The application is heroically uncomplicated: place the test pack in the desired position in the load, start the sterilization program and check the result. The color change shows you whether the steam penetration meets the requirements after the sterilization cycle has finished.
